| Genius: If you're a Genius student, Jirou's quite the congenial creature, very friendly to his peers, instructors, and upper- and lower-classmen alike. In the last few years especially, he's been very forward in assisting new Genius students; he'll gladly walk you to your classroom, lend you a dollar, help you with your classwork and tell you all of the current rumors. Some students might find him a little stuck-up, but that's more of a propensity for luxury than a superiority complex. King: On the other hand, King students may get a slightly more conceited vibe from him — he's still perfectly friendly, but if a King student throws sparks first, Jirou will just as easily attach himself to the snarky inter-side banter. He's not prone to taking said banter personally. He enjoys the rivalry, but doesn't let it define his friendships; he has plenty of friends on both Sides, and has even dated King girls before. Friends: Anyone Jirou talks to outside of classes and passes in the halls is considered a friend in his book. Friends might find themselves invited back to his house on weekends and breaks, if they don't have plans — the Akutagawa house is local and huge, so there's plenty of room for guests. There's also plenty of entertainment, from six million cable channels and video games to horseback riding and a large outdoor pool. Lovers: Jirou's typically quite flirtatious with students and staff alike, mostly with girls. He'll take girls out to lunch, but never really dates exclusively, even casually. Lunch dates are good for more heavy flirting and stealing a kiss or two, though. ♥ If a guy makes a pass at him first, he'll usually reciprocate, albeit a bit less boldly than with girls. He's not known for dating guys, but if there's been enough chemistry with a male classmate, he may have experimented covertly. Others: Students from either side whom Jirou doesn't personally know have probably still heard of him; he's friendly and far-reaching, and generally memorable. He also has a tradition of throwing parties at his house at least once each year, usually over a break. Everyone in his division (highschool, these days; soon to be university) is informally invited to these parties, and almost no one will be turned away, regardless of division. | |
